This past year has brought a wave of red legislation targeting the LGBT+ community (trans people and drag queens specifically). It appears the goal of the religious right is to synonymize LGBT+ with “groomers”. To discredit us, to take away our rights, to remove any mention of us from books and schools, to turn us back into the social pariahs we were, back when America was “great”.
The catholic church has paid out just under 4 billion dollars to roughly 6000 survivors of sexual abuse by religious men, so far, with many lawsuits still pending. This well documented, decades old pattern of vile behavior from the church is now being wrongfully projected onto the LGBT+ community. We refuse to stand idly by as the human rights our queer elders fought so hard for are rolled backwards. Proceeds from this shirt go directly towards providing equality for LGBT+ people, and towards reducing/healing the harm inflicted on children by sexual predators.

I just realized that Catholic Priests are men.
So the priests who abuse young boys are, in fact, members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Seeing as theyre men touching underage boys, they're not only members of the LGBTQIA+ community, but they're also pedophiles.
